Life Going to Be Quite Busy

The upcoming Labor Day weekend marks the end of the summer madness, although, thanks to global warming, we will still have summer weather deeper into the fall season. Luckily for me, I am taking off this Friday to go hit up the Jersey Shore until Sunday. It will be a weekend full of sun, beerpong (Yes at age 25 I still play and will run the table on you!), and the beach. The one good thing about Sea Isle City, NJ is that none of the bars accept credit cards, but somehow you know I will find a way to mess that scenario up! Regardless, once I get back from the beach have given myself a nice little Monday to myself to relax and prepare for the week. Grad school is starting back up next week. I have one 3 credit class that runs for seven weeks, then another class right after that with the same schedule. First one up is a Financial Statistics course and then after that is a Business Intelligence course, they sound a lot more interesting than they really are! Mondays and Wednesdays are going to be very long, especially since work has been crazy busy ever since I got back from training. Today I only took a thirty minute lunch because I had so much work to do, but I do not mind it because I really feel my productivity is increasing.

What will be tough during the days of night class will be my food consumption because last year during class I was hitting up Wawa (A convenient store with banging hoagies in the Mid-Atlantic Region) before class and it really began adding up over the months. So I will look to try and pack everything from home for those days and really be disciplined in my spending. The good part is I won’t have any traffic on the way home so it will be a nice easy straight shot home and my car will be that much happier on those days!

Anyways, the season is changing, the schedule is changing, due to all this we have to make sure that we all make the appropriate changes in our lives. We need to realign ourselves so that we continue to put ourselves in the best position possible to succeed (I stole that line from Eagle’s football coach Andy Reid). Make sure you take some time out this Monday when you have the day off and take a peak into the future to see what you have coming at you. This way you won’t be surprised when something crazy happens this fall. Don’t forget to enjoy yourself this weekend, just leave the credit cards at home!
